What you will be doing :
The Senior Product Graphic Designer assists the Graphic Design Manager and graphic designers through the seasonal process, contributes the Seasonal Color Palette, On-Product Branding Guidelines, prioritizes their projects throughout each season, and will help to mentor Junior Graphic Designers. The Senior Product Graphic Designer is an integral part of the Design Team and working closely with Product Designers and the Development Team to produce visual presentations of product through color renderings, color boards, patterns, graphics & branding, specification drawings, and marketing photography. The Senior Product Graphic Designer will also help to lead initiatives within the Design Department, collaborate in design strategy, process, and calendar discussions where asked by the Graphic Design Manager and/or Director of Design.

Seasonal pack color renderings
Seasonal Color boards
Graphic inspiration and renderings
Graphic placement on patterns
Prototype photography
Graphic patterns and prints design
Take directives from the Graphic Design Manager to deliver
Manage and prioritize their seasonal workload.
The Seasonal Color Palette
On-Product Branding Guidelines
Communication with development and outside photographers
Photography color correction
Take directives from Graphic Design Manager to deliver
Updating graphics on patterns
Lab Dip checking, rejections, and approvals
Occasionally leads the Graphics/Color Team in meetings, representing the Graphics Team with professionalism and maturity.

AUTHORITY & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
The Senior Product Graphic Designer is authorized to take reasonable action necessary to carry out responsibilities consistent with general guidance of the Graphic Design Manager. The Senior Product Graphic Designer is directly responsible to the Graphic Design Manager.
Supervision Exercised: None, unless delegated by the Graphic Design Manager or the Director of Design. Occasional responsibility for the oversight of the Junior Product Designers and/or Design Interns.
Primary Contacts: Regular contact with Graphic Design Manager, Director of Design, Design Team, Development Team, Photographer, US Marketing Team, and Product Line Management (PLM).
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Education: Degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or similar Visual Design
Experience: 5+ years professional graphic design experience in bags, soft goods, apparel, or similar.
Proficiency in software such as Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign; MS Office, Outlook.
Proficiency in English communication and color terminology
Good color, trend, style and artistic perception and taste
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Compensation: Commensurate on experience and qualifications.
Paid Time Off (PTO): 15 days.
Benefits: Comprehensive Benefits Package. Lunch provided 5 days a week, snacks provided periodically.
REQUIRED MEETINGS AND TIME/TRAVEL
Participation in all department and general company meetings/functions, and others relating to special assignments, as required. May be required to work outside of normal work hours or attend offsite training/business functions. Travel to the US Headquarters, tradeshows and suppliers/vendors and sales meetings as required. Potential for travel upwards of 5%.
